Awesome shop!!! They do Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, and Honda. This is a wonderful shop and I will go back without a second thought. I had my clutch replaced and there were a few complications, and he just took care of it without any BS or trying to add on bogus charges. If he wanted to, he could have ripped me off and there would not have been a lot I could do. Do not let the location or facilities sway you from doing business. Yes, it is a old building, and does not look like much, but this is absolutely not a consideration if you want your car fixed. Mark is the owner, and is very nice, down to earth, and knows this business well. He talks to you like he wants to help you out, not that he is trying to get your money. This is the sort of place you always dream about taking your car, except it actually exists.

We took our Toyota Camry and Tacoma here for six years when we lived in Reno. Mark is fair and competent and will explain what is wrong with your vehicle before doing work. The price was reasonable. Our Camry had a couple odd-ball problems which were too expensive to replace, Mark worked on patching these up well enough for us to get by for a couple years until we got another car. I would recommend the shop to anyone.

This shop moved to 3180 Mill St, Reno, NV with same phone number and modified their name to The Auto Clinic working on the same makes as before. I took my Subaru there and got excellent service after the Subaru Dealer pirates caused me a lot of grief! I was impressed so I have them work on my 2002 Ford Ranger and my 1981 Lancia.

Lost the transmission on my 2001 Ford Ranger. I called several shops pricing what it was going to set me back to replace with a rebuilt or a used transmission. They gave me a reasonable price (compared to the others) for a used trannny. They completed the work on time and for a slightly less than agreed upon price. Fair, honest, friendly. Would be happy to recommend them to friends/family.

In my 50 years getting numerous new and decrepit cars fixed in numerous cities across the country, I have found three shops that I have trusted completely. These guys are my new "find." They are explain things well, offer sound advice, get the work done promptly, and do the right fix, rather than default to the easier, but more expensive "remove and replace" option. I see their overall rating of four out of five stars and don't get it. If these guys only get four stars from the relative "rave review" texts of the four star rating there is something wrong with the computer program that decides on the number of stars in the rating. This is not, or should not be, eBay, where anything less that unattainable perfection is granted five stars!
