Ed has been our family's mechanic for over 30 years, he has tackled the following makes of automobiles; Jeep CJ7, Jeep P/U, Buick, Olds, Chevy (cars & trucks) et. al. He's not famous for being the fastest in the world, but he knows his stuff, keeps current with new model information, and his prices are always very fair. Anyone looking for a good mechanic in Cumberland County, Ed's your man.

Same owner/technician for over 50 years, He has forgotten more about cars than I will ever know.

He is the last of his breed, He is a genuine "nice Guy". I can't say strongly enough this is the place to get your car, truck, motor home, airplane, or whatever fixed here. He also has a complete record of all repair work done there and what necessary service is due. Now that he has enlarged his staff with another ACE certified Technician with over 30 years experience, the work can be done in a more timely manner.

I had taken my car to 4 other places, each one costing me hundreds of dollars. I paid one place over $1500.00 for sensors and stuff. The stalling out continued untill a friend told me to take it to Bill at Ed's Auto, He found the broken ground wire and the repairs cost about $150.00 for everything. My car has not stalled out since!

I was afraid the quality of service would degrade after Eddie passed away but Bill has continued the tradition of honest pricing and repairing only the parts that need to be replaced. I was told by my boyfriend that my sensor was bad when the light came on (he took it to pep boys to get the code read). I took it to Ed's prepared to pay for sensors and he cleaned the battery cables, tested the car and told me that was all I needed. The light has been off for over 8 months now. Heather

We've used this mechanic a few times for our poorly maintained Scion xB. All in all, we've paid pretty much what we expected to pay each time, the upper end of our 'guestimate' before making the appointment for repairs. The thing that led me to write this review happened Saturday. My husband took it over for new brakes and rotors, and to have the ball joints and tie rods checked out (our sort of mechanic brother in law expressed concerns that they were going bad a couple months ago). I couldn't believe my ears when my husband told me that Bill said the joints and rods were totally fine! He could have had us coming and going, my husband would have happily handed over the money for them to be replaced and never have known any better. We certainly appreciate that kind of honesty. Oh, and they fix cars pretty good too. ;)
