I first went to Tom with a $2400 extimate from Nissan to do work on My Maxima, and asked him for a second opinion. He looked over the car without knowing what Nissan was charging me for the repairs, and came back at $1000. Many of the repairs they said I 'needed' he said were not even remotely necessary. My girlfriend and roomate have both had there cars there to be looked at and test driven. If he couldn't find anything wrong, or he just had to tighten something, he did it free of charge! It's great to have a mechanic you can trust! Thanks Tom!

They do a good job, only do (or recommend)the work that is
neccessary, charge a fair price, give the right advice,
schedule the work promply and complete it on time.
What else can you ask for? Took me 16 years (since I moved
to Morristown)to find a place like this!

The first time I was at Tom's First Auto waiting to pick
up my wife's car, one of the mechanics camed up front to
tell Tom that the problem with another car's heater was a
bent lever. Tom had him bend it back and thus fix the
problem and I overheard him explain what he did to the
customer who came in While I was there. The man is honest
(must have never went to mechanic school). He has also
fixed small problems on my truck like putting on a new
license plate holder for the license had hanging on with a
cable tie without being asked or charging me for it. They
thoroughly check out your car and will let you know if
something needs to be fixed (safety), ought to be fixed,
or if you should not worry about it.

Thoroughly enjoyed having my car serviced at First Choice
Motors. They've been extremely helpful and fair.
Unfortunately, I can only schedule service on Saturday
mornings because there is no transportation from the shop
to my workplace on weekdays.

First Choice is *the best*. As someone else noted, they
don't talk down to you if you're a woman, assuming you don't
know anything about cars. And when you have something small
you need done, they'll squeeze you in. Just yesterday my
headlight was out. I called at 4:30 (this is a Friday) and
they said bring it on in and we'll fix it. Would the Toyota
dealer (whom I used to go to) say that? Doubtful.
