They are very patient in explaining everything. They spend about 30 min (no kidding) average to explain to you what the problem is. They are excellent. Nowadays if they say that there is a problem I just tell them to fix it without asking any further questions. I have complete confidence in their diagnosis and repair.

Went to Bill's after a search on this website. I am VERY pleased that I did. I am given detailed explanation of the repairs before they proceed and I fing the pricing reasonable. They now have my business.

Absolutely wonderful. I have just moved out of state and am completely traumatized that I have to find a new menchanic. I have *NO* idea about cars and they could take advantage of me...instead, they are always COMPLETELY honest. They once turned me away when I thought I needed a new clutch--they took it for a spin and told me I was making it up. Two years later, the clutch is still going. These guys are awesome.

I found Bill's on this website after a year and a half of having the same problems fixed 3 and 4 times on my vehicles by my former mechanic with the perfect mustache and a shirt sleeve full of emblems attesting to his professionalism and knowledge. After spending $1200.00 to have my heat fixed three times I called Justin at Bill's automotive. He actually listened to me and seemed interested in why my van had no heat after three attempts to repair it. Mine was an old van being an 82' and that appears to be reason enough for it's repair to not really matter to some people. After all, I must be a jerk it I drive a 20 year old truck. Justin, Chris and Leon worked on my van all day long. As this became expensive, I was called at least three times during the day for my permission to proceed. They went well into the evening and repaired my heat the first time allowing me to put my propane heater back into my tool shed where it belongs. It actually hurt when I donated the van to charity this summer after all their efforts. Bill's keeps a computerized record of all my repairs. The record includes comentary and opinion as to what may be needed down the road. I find this helpful as I am no longer suprised by the numbers when it is time to replace or repair parts on the older vehicles I own. My wife and her father now bring their cars to Bill's in addition to the three we own. Bill's is the best kept automotive repair secret in the state in my opinion. I am contemplating moving and one of the few things I will miss about NJ is having a mechanic I don't have to second guess. I don't even worry about the charges as I know I have been treated fairly in every respect in the past and am certain I was not charged all I should have been charged when my 82' van needed heat. It now takes me a week or two to get an appointment for service so if you don't patronize Justin and the boys it would be better for me. But if you are not being taken care of by your present mechanic you may enjoy the feeling when you get to Bill's.

This is the first time I ever felt well-informed about a car repair.

Bill's rocks. I was a customer for years after finding them on this site and couldn't be happier with their service. They were always honest and upfront about what work needed to be done and what could wait. What they fixed stay fixed and were always very explicit about what work they had done and made sur e understood. I can't recommend them highly enough!
