Tony is a very fair person and explains problems and repairs very well.

20 years ago I bought a used honda and my friend owned a
garage, but wouldnt do the work on the honda. He sent me
to Tony with the advise that he sent another client of his
to Tony Cooks Import Auto with a carb problem that could
cost $300 or $40 bucks. The customer would never know the
difference and when he ran into that customer again, he
asked how much did the carb work come to and the answer was
$40 bucks. That was good enough for me and from then on
Tony has helped my son with his "foreign" car problems. A
good guy and good mechanic.

Tony is a great guy who loves fixing cars correctly. He's
been my car "go to" guy for over 20 years. He does a great
job of explaining and differentating between "what needs to
be fixed" (for safety or emission reasons) and "what could
be fixed" (sneaks, costemtics, etc.). His boat is paid for
and sits in his shop. He'll even tell you where to fish!

We've been a customer of Tony's for over 20 years, starting
with our Datsun 210 through Toyota Camrys, Subaru Outbacks,
and a Honda Accord. he helps us keep our cars reliable and
well running - we keep our cars for 180,000 miles and its
because of Tony's good work. He's provides great information
and is really fair - he'll tell you if that noise is a
safety concern or a nuisance you can fix when you have money
or time or can't stand it any more. His prices are great and
his time and price estimates are accurate. And he's got many
more years of great car fixing ahead of him! He has a small
shop and knows his customers well.

One time I went in with a strong but inaccurate opinion
about what was wrong. I told Tony this must be it and
said I understood it would pay for his next yacht motor
replacement. He took a look and told me it really was
something far less costly. 'Nuff said.
