I have been taking cars to Kenvin for approx 15 years. I
started using Economy and Performance when I bought my
Fiat X1/9 and Kevin was recommended because he raced old
Fiats. He worked on my Fiat for 10 years and has also
worked on our Fords, Toyotas, Audis, Lexus, and Dodges. I
have never had any problem with a repair that Kevin did
that wasn't taken care of immediately and with good
graces. His work is priced fairly, explained before it is
done, and he is willing to go the extra mile for customers.
I would highly recommend Kevin and Economy and Performance
to anyone in the Lincoln area who is looking for a new
mechanic.

Kevin and his staff have a nice operation and do great
work. The only problem is getting your car scheduled for
maintenance. Sometimes, it takes up to a week before you
can get in.

Kevin runs a great shop overall, but the quality of the work
depends into whose hands your car falls. However, he has
always made things right when there was an oversight or
screw-up.

Kevin is the coolest. He's very knowledgable, he's
amiable as is the rest of his staff...his dog is cute and
friendly. AAANNNNDDD his shop has an elevator for cars.
That's neat...I'm easily entertained. Anyway, I just got
my car back from his shop after it sat all sad and lonely
in front of my house for about a month because it wouldn't
start. I wanted the starting problem fixed and figured I
needed new brake pads. He told me the wear on the pads
wasn't bad and they didn't need to be replaced...so
obviously he doesn't sneak in any extras on his patrons.
Turns out the starting problem was caused by the murder of
my battery by the timing system due to some stupid screw
up another shop made while installing a new timing
belt...they didn't time the camshafts... Kevin encouraged
me to get compensation from the other shop. If and when I
get my money back I'll post a comment on their little
page. My lesson learned is to never ever ever go to
another mechanic.

I have been going to Kevin for years. He has rebuilt
engines for me, fixed many different types of problems
with my cars. He is friendly. I wish I had not recummended
him to so many people because some he can not get me in
quickly, as he is very popular. Very knowlegable about
cars.
