Dave Rohlfs is the owner of this shop and has got to be the most honest mechanic I have encountered yet. There are numerous ways I can explain that, but will only use the following one. I had taken my Honda (his shop works on numerous makes to include Acura, Honda, Toyota and Ford) in for some maintenance and he called my office with the final tally for the bill. When I showed up at his shop to pay, he told me that he had forgotten to add in some of the labor charges before he called me. I told him to do so now, considering he had my car all day long I knew this would probably be a chunk of money. Dave said no, that this was his error and it wouldn't be right to put in on now after giving me my total over the phone. I have never heard of a mechanic, owner of the shop or not, that is willing to take a hit like this because of an innocent oversight. Dave and his staff are truly professionals among professionals. I just wish I didn't have to move away. Mike Gibson

I was very pleased by the friendly and communicative manner
of the shop owner, Dave. I brought my '93 Subaru in
because of a noise coming from the rear of the car, when
rolling. I was hoping it wouldn't turn out to be something
expensive, like a U-joint or differential, etc., but it was
only a wheel bearing, which he fixed the next day, for
about $200, which seemed fair to me. When he called to
tell me my car was ready, and I let him know I would be
there in about 45 minutes because I would be riding my
bike, he offered to come and get me, which I thought was
real nice, and unexpected. (I rode my bike anyway, because
it was such a nice day.)

I moved to Omaha about 3 years ago, leaving behind the
family mechanic that I was use to. About 3 months after I
moved here my van (1992 Chevy Lumina APV) started having
power steering issues (we were losing hoses left and
right). I took the van to several shops, but had
mechanics telling me the problem was not the power
steering, or an other number of things, all costing in the
$1000-$1500 range. I, who can work on my car but couldn't
reach the hoses in question, finally took the van to Olde
Town after a friend suggested them. I have been happy
ever since. Dave, the owner, is honest and explains
everything that is going on with the car. He has offered
on numerous occassions to pick me up so that I can get my
car back, and the shop send reminders for routine
maitainance. I recommend them to everyone!

We moved to this area in 1994 and have been with Dave
since. My 1987 Honda Accord has 301,000 miles on it, most
monitored by Olde Town and because of Dave, will probably
keep running for several more thousand. When I take my car
in for service in the morning, Dave has always been helpful
to provide a ride to work if needed. We have recommended
him to many coworkers and friends and all have been very
satisfied with his work and fair prices.

Dave is awesome - he's completely honest, he fixes things well and at low cost and he has the best interest of the customer in mind. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. I've referred friends and they've all come back to thank me for connecting them - they're experiences are as good as mine have been.
