Taylor Automotive, Sanford, NC went out of the way to ensure our 1992 Volkswagen Cabriolet's left and right linkage arms were replaced correctly. We had to return the car for some issues with our linkage arm and led to other issues. They claimed responsibility without any argument and fixed it all! The car runs well and they are certainly keeping our business.

We have two older vehicles that have been serviced many times by the folks at Taylor, starting when we randomly picked them soon after arriving in Sanford. They have been unfailingly courteous, friendly, and helpful. Both cars have always been very well taken care of, and the fellow who takes care of my car has often fixed some other minor thing that I had forgotten to ask about, just because he saw that it needed to be done. When my car broke down on the highway coming into Sanford, I called Taylor and they called a tow truck for me, then gave me a ride to a rental car agency, all on the day before Thanksgiving. I love this shop and would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone. The only downside is that they are not open on weekends, so sometimes it requires a bit of extra planning to get to them.

I was buying a 2001 Tundra from a private seller in Sanford. I am from Yorktown VA. After the seller agreed to have the truck checked out at a shop, I immediately went to Car Talk to find someone I hoped I could trust. Taylors called when the truck arrived. They assured me they would do a thorough job and let me know what they thought. It was actually uttered they would flat out tell me "don't buy this truck" if they thought it would be more trouble than worth. After the inspection I spoke to them again. They gave me a short list of some issues and then said, "This is a nice truck. We think you are getting a good deal." (I didn't know these types of unfiltered truths could be spoken any more. "Liabilities!!!"). Regardless, because Taylors was recommended by Car Talk listeners, I purchased the truck. To take the inspection issue further, I brought the truck back to my mechanic in VA (Peninsula Automotive). Much to my pleasure Mike (my mechanic) called to tell me the list I brought from NC included the same issues he found. Additionally he found no surprises after a thorough inspection. I would highly recommend Taylors to anyone in the area. The seller was also impressed and thought he might come back.
