The owner took time to explain fully the repair that was needed, along with various options. Although, the price was slightly more than his estimate, he cut the labor charge because the replacement part was more than he had thought. He took $100 off the labor to keep the bill within the estimate.

Glen has kept my 1994 Aerostar in excellent running condition for the last sever years. He usually fixes the problems and potential problems the first time, but on the rare occasion the problem recurs, he has fixed it free.

We blew a rear brake line on the Suburban at 6pm going to FL on I95 in April. I limped to the motel and found this nearby shop on Car Talk with an A+ BBB rating. I was at the shop at 7:45am the next morning. I explained my problem and the owner said he would take me 1st thing at 8am when the techs started work. He came into the waiting room 2x to show me the broken line and tell me what they were doing. He even diagnosed a couple of other problems for me. I was back on the road before 9am. Very fair and honest job. They seem to have many best of the year repair shop plaques on the wall. A good honest local shop that is not a chain. Thanks guys.

Went in for a timing belt/water pump change and rim replacement; they were substantially cheaper than other shops in the area. Noticed a wobble after rotating my tires, and took it in. They took the car out for a drive, put it up on a stand, showed me that the tires were worn unevenly from the (now replaced) bent rim. Despite being a tire shop, they weren't pushy about getting me to replace the tire, and refused to charge for the diagnosis. Amazing.
