They have made repairs several times while I waited ( with no appointment) in order for me to drive a safe car. I have complete confidence in their ability and honesty. My car is 16 years old and I feel comfortable taking it out of town alone. They have recently changed their name to Triangle Imports. The address is 1500 Capital Blvd ( for some reason this was not accepted by the computer). Phone is 919-828-7900. Fax 919-755-0107.

First of all, they are no longer called "Triangle European" (conflict with some other shop somewhere), but since last year have been called "Triangle Imports". These guys are tops. Co-owner Tom O'Rourke looks and comports himself not only with true professionalism, but looks like a philospher or artist (he even has nice artwork hanging in the waiting area). He's friendly (but not overly so), cool (not cold), and knows his customers. I trust him. My one complaint is the TV in the waiting room; it's tuned to Fox Network news and since they don't have cable, it's a poor signal anyway. Point of clarification from the survey question about the neigborhood: he's just off a very busy uncontrolled access four-lane highway, and it's often near-impossible to get out of his driveway (which he shares with a large beer distributorship, a recycling company, and a general contractor) without getting spiked by oncoming traffic. He is aware and is trying to find a new location.

I have many years experience with auto repairs. Maybe more years than Tom and Ray. In any event, this business was a pleasure to work with. Dean, the service manager kept me informed about the process and the site employees were a pleasure to be around. I have found that well treated employees are a good indication that you will be treated fairly. I will go back.

I took my '85 BMW 524td to Triangle for an engine swap last summer. The fact that Tom and Frank even were willing to take on the job impressed the heck out of me. Not a job for the faint of heart or lacking of skill. The turbodiesel BMW is a rare and obscure beasty and requires some tools that most shops wouldn't bother messing with. I suspect that I bought Triangle a few of the ones that they needed, but didn't have the cojones to ask for them! They took a little longer than advertised and I had a few communication problems, but they tried to keep me posted on progress. Mostly the delays were due to the rarity of the parts necessary to do the work. Frank did a good job and did the courtesy of replacing hoses that were buried deep behind and below the engine. He also did the rear main seal and timing belt. The job was not cheap. It took many man-hours and quite a few parts. I didn't expect it to be cheap, either, but Tom told me what to expect up front and I was -erm- mostly ready for the shock. Lots of nice BMWs of all years and models in the bays. Clean workshop! Always a good sign.

i drive a jaguar 1999 v8. i heard a noise on starting my car that concerned me. i called triangle imports with my concern. tom talked the call & advised that a little known probelm with engine tensioners breaking apart could lead to severe engine problems. tom asked me to bring the car in immediately. they gave me a loaner car to drive while my car was in the shop, (nice). i was called the same day & was informed that a piece of the plastic tensioner had seperated & was lodged just at the upper timing chain. i was close to loosing my engine!!. they made the necessary repairs in a timely manner and gave me an article published from a jaguar site explaining the situation, with very clear pictures. they also saved all the parts to show me and compared the article pictures to my parts. wow was i ever pleased. to find an indendent shop so informed, with up to date specific information was just what i have grown to expect from triangle imports. i will continue to bring my car to the & continue to sing their praise to all of my friends. what a great place. by the way i'am one of many satisfied female car owners in their business.

I have been taking my vehicle to Triangle Imports for years. I have been through a move with them...when they moved from 1500 to 3333 Capital Blvd. Tom, Dean, and Matt have always taken great care of me. They are always pleased to see me with a smile on their face. They have my loaner vehicle waiting so I can get on with the rest of my day. They call me and make sure I am fully aware of everything that needs to be done and they prioritize the work so I can have the the most serious stuff done in a timely fashion. My vehicle is always fixed right the first time and when I pick up my vehicle it is always washed and ready to go. Thanks Triangle Imports
