They have always been good to fix the vehicles the first
time. They also explain to you what is wrong with your
vehicle.

I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado with 120,000 miles on it. A couple years ago, it was giving us problems. I looked up the information on it, and our truck was part of a recall. We brought it to a Chevy dealer, and they told us that they could not fix it right away, that they had to go through "procedures" first. They cleaned the throttle body. Only kept the problem at bay for a year, but by the time, it acted up that next year, the Recall dates were no longer effective. We tried to get help from Chevy, but pretty much were told we were out of luck.
We brought it to Fowler's. We told them about the recall as well, but were told by the Mechanic that "Colorados never have that problem." It cost us around $1700 for New valve and new head plus the work. They kept our truck for a whole month. We told them initially that it was one of our main vehicles, we were supposedly second in line, but they just pushed it to the side. We were told several times, "you are next in line," but somehow, other cars kept getting put in front of ours. Most of the month, I did my best to borrow cars or get a ride to my job which was 30 miles from my house. It came to the point, where I had to rent a car for a week, just to get to work. Now two years and only 19,000 miles later, the same exact valve has blown. Fowler's "fixed" it, but only had an one year or 12,000 warranty on it. We won't even dare to bring it back there, because who knows how long they will keep it this time and how much more we will be charged. So, once again, we are without our truck. I would not recommend Fowler's to my worst enemy.
