This shop was recommended to me about 15 years ago and I've taken my vehicles there ever since. This is a family owned shop that has been in business for a long time and is very well established in the community. They get plenty of repair work from the local residents which attests to the quality of the shop. The shop is run by a father and two sons. They are very knowledgeable, thoroughly honest (yes, really), friendly, courteous, get repairs completed in a timely manner, and are reasonable. Plus they stand behind their work. In cases where they don't do a specific repair they can recommend a good reliable shop that does do it. I have to drive about 15 miles to get there but I know I can trust them so it is worth the drive.

Mr. Faucette is a honest and competent mechanic. His work is thorough and reasonably priced. Got his name through a friend who had been living in the area for over 30 years. I have been taking my car to his garage for yearly tune-up and repair. The car runs like a charm.

As other reviewers have said, it's a family owned business. True shade tree mechanics... the workshop is in the woods (well at the edge of them anyway). You have to know where they are to find them. They are extremely honest and stand behind their work. I had a starter motor replaced by them, less than a month later, a belt broke and caused some damage to another part. I took it back to them, they looked at it and determined that the cause of the belt breakage was because of the work they'd done on the starter motor. They then repaired everything and didn't charge me; they said it was their fault! I wouldn't have known, one way or the other.

The shop is about 3 miles from my house and I know quite a few people in the area who use this shop for auto repairs. My 1998 Toyota Avalon, with 237,000 miles on it, seemed to be loosing coolant. I took it in to their shop. As soon as the mechanic, Sam, opened the hood he spotted the problem. The radiator top, which is made of plastic, had a small hairline crack. He said, considering the age/mileage of the car, that replacing the radiator would be the best fix. I agreed and left the car with them to do the repair. The next day it was repaired at a price comparable to other shops in the area. They mentioned that I was loosing oil because of bad valve cover gaskets. They said the oil loss was small. Since I plan to keep the vehicle for a while I decided to have them quote the cost of the repair. They said the gaskets would run about $35 and the labor was $290 because to get to the rear 3 cylinders they would have to take everything off the rear of the engine to get to the valve cover. I told them I would let them know what I wanted to do. I started called a repair shop in the area who has done a little work on the car and who is very honest. They also said the part was about $35 but the labor would take the total cost up to a little over $500. I verified the high cost of labor by watching a You Tube video showing the repair. The following week I took the car back to Faucette's and had them do the repair. They did the job at their quoted price and I no longer leak any oil. This repair shop is honest and competent and I will continue to use them for work on my vehicles.
