I have a company truck that uses a fleet account to pay for maintenance that is only accepted at certain shops. When I started with the company, I was told by coworkers that I could take my truck to Mr. Tire for all maintenance needed because they take walk ins. First off, every single time I take my truck here the people at the front desk complain to my face about having to deal with the Fleet account to get approval to perform the necessary maintenance needed. Once, I drove my truck there on a donut to have my tire plugged and put back on. They told me the threads to the piece that hold the spare tire under my truck were stripped so they left the donut in the bed of my truck on top of all my equipment. I asked them why they weren't going to fix it since they messed it up and they told me they would have to order the part from the dealership and it would take a while to get it approved from the Fleet account, then order the part, wait for the part to be received at the shop then they would call me so I could bring my truck back in. I told them to start the process NOW so I could get it fixed ASAP. The lady at the desk "called and left a voicemail for the dealership" while I was standing there watching. I called back every week for 3 weeks getting the same answer from the woman at the front "We're still waiting on the part from the dealership". My boss was fed up with me waiting so he told me to take it to the dealership myself so I did. The dealership told me there was nothing wrong with that part and put my spare tire back under my truck with no problems. Still to this day, months later, this shop has yet to call me back for that part. The last time I took my truck there for an oil change and tire rotation, the man at the front told me they would not be rotating my tires because they needed to be replaced the next time that I brought it in for an oil change. They were also supposed to top off all fluids and report back to the Fleet account the condition of my brakes and tires. 3 weeks after I had my oil changed, I ran out of washer fluid so I drove back to the shop. I told the man at the front that my washer fluid was completely empty so it wasn't topped off when I had my oil changed and I wanted to know what other fluids were supposed to be topped off because they probably weren't topped off either. He told me there were NO other fluids that could be topped off because you can't top off transmission fluid. I get screwed by them every time I go because I am a female and don't know much about car maintenance. I felt the need to write this review because I am NOT the only person who has gotten the run around from this shop. This is the most dishonest and lousiest shop that I have taken any vehicle to. If they sense that you aren't assertive or car savvy, they make you wait for hours and give you the run around.
