I took my car here a few months ago on a chance, because it was near my apartment, and I desperately needed new brake pads. Though they were filled up for the day, they squeezed me in after I told them this was the only day I could come in. They were very friendly and didn't treat me like a moron, as I often get at car places because I am a woman. I definitely will return.

The best part about this shop is how honest they are. They are very patient and take the time to explain problems and solutions. The employees are all highly competent in addition to just being great people. You won't find a more helpful and caring group of expert mechanics. They've taken great care of my car over the course of 100,000+ miles, and I've brought several friends in with a range of cars and problems that all became loyal customers.

Mike, Kent, and the gang at Friendly Center Tire are the best of the best. Mike always greets his customers with a smile, a cheerful attitude, and a firm handshake. And if you've been in before, he'll call you by name. He treats everyone, male or female, with the upmost respect. And they know what they are doing. They have fixed many problems on my Mazda, even when I've done the screwing up. They always call and patiently explain the work to be done, and quote you a fair price. They are located in a nice shopping center, so if you drop it off for something simple, like an oil change, you can shop while you wait. I cannot recommend these guys high enough, and once you try them, you will have a auto home for life.

The wonderful folks at Friendly Tire keep all three of our old (1989 (120,000 miles), 1991 (73,000), and 1993 (61,000)) cars running smoothly and trouble-free. We haven't had any "surprise" on-the-road problems with any of the cars since we started taking them to Friendly Tire. All of the workers there are knowledgable and share that knowledge with whichever of us (myself or husband) takes the car in. They also don't hesitate to immediately recommend another great shop if the problem is more than they normally handle. They are super at meeting deadlines and always call when the car is ready to be picked up. They also call if they find "more" / recommend "more" which needs to be done. They do all of our 3,000 mile check-ups/oil changes and NC State Inspections. With the help of Friendly Tire, we hope to continue to drive our three cars for many years to come.

This is the first mechanic I have had in a long time who actually drove the car after they repaired the air conditioner to make sure everything was OK. The dealer never drove the car unless I asked them, and they would have never done it for an A/C repair. Also, because they drove the car, they could look at a noise that had been bothering me for some time.

We've been using this shop ever since it was Goodyear at Friendly Center. Mason and his crew are top notch and always honest and friendly. They will advise on the best course of action for any repair even if it means less money for them and are keeping all our cars in great shape.

I had driven 2 1/2 hrs from home to attend a nursing workshop. At the end of the class my car would not start. Josh drove over to the parking lot and was able to get the battery started and then I drove to their shop. They were so nice and helpful and friendly. After running some tests, it was determined that the alternator had failed. They drove to the parts store and picked up a new alternator and battery and installed them and got me back on the road. They stayed after hours on Friday evening to fix my car and make sure it was safe for me to drive back to my home. I am so thankful for their assistance!!!
