This shop came highly recommended by several parts shops in town. Other than taking a little longer than I expected on the repair, I am awed by the down home friendliness and honesty of the owner. I believe the repair is a first class job and saved me a few hundred over dealer and other shop quotes!!

The owner is quite likable and very knowledgeable. Being a small one man shop tends to take a little longer for your repairs but the wait and quality of the final work along with the very fair costs, make the wait well worth it!

The shop was highly recommended and lived up to that recommendation. The owner took the time to explain the original issue and, when there was a problem with the replacement parts, he and his guys worked a LOT of extra hours to determine the issue and fix it. I recommend them highly for their skills and their work ethic. If they worked on all parts of a car, instead of just the transmission, I would not take my Monte Carlo anywhere else.

This guy here, he is one of the most competent transmission specialists I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He let me watch him work once, and you could tell he knew that transmission like the back of his hand. My car has nearly 600 RWHP and over 750 RWTQ and the 4L60E is not really up to the job no matter what. But, somehow, after replacing everything in it, the transmission lasted until I wore a bearing in the engine (and set the car aside until a re-build). Now that the car is ready again, I need a freshen up and I am going to track him down again. Some mechanics are so hard to trust. He is the only one I trust to do my transmission right.

Bruce and his team are honest and extremely good at what they do. I took my van in for what I thought was going to be a torque converter replacement, or worse yet a transmission overhaul. Bruce drove the car less than two miles and diagnosed the problem as the front CV axle, not the transmission. After a much less expensive repair the car is as good as new.
