We're glad we found this local mechanic after moving into the area. He's not only reliable and honest, he treats us with respect...and we enjoy the friendly banter.

It is a pleasure and a reassuring experience to work with David Price and his staff. They will take you to work or home while they work on your car and then come pick you up when they are done. Everything has been taken care of in one visit. They treat women the same as they treat men...that is amazing and rare! The Taylor's

This shop is very professional, and well kept. If something is not right, David lets you know as soon as he finds it, and doesn't move ahead in the repair without the permission of the customer, costing them more money. David and his staff are very well educated in automotive technology, and are certified through the ASE program.

I have a 1998 Isuzu Trooper with 167,000 miles. Trouble for the last two months is that it randomly fails to start - until it is towed, then it cranks like a champ. My normal guy picked it up twice - first time changed battery connections. Second time installed new starter (second one in one year). I really didn't think the problem was fixed - but gave him the benefit of the doubt and went off with a carefree attitude. A little more than a week later - FAILURE - again. 9 pm in Wal-Mart parking lot. Husband and son "rocked" car - and it cranked just fine. But, the fear of getting "stuck" is in my mind - and I'm not too keen on walking - even if it's not crowded. So . . . time for a "new" guy. Oh, found out that they now prefer to be called "technicians" instead of mechanics. My new guy? DAVID PRICE Auto Works. ** Kind ** Knowledgeable ** Accessible ** Timely ** Reasonably Priced ** Friendly Staff ** Replaced a relay switch - that was the original installed by Isuzu. So, let's see if that solves the problem. Even if it doesn't, I will still return and give him another chance because I was so confident and comfortable with his abilities. So, if you're in the Rockingham Co., NC area - Southern VA folks too . . . and you need a GREAT mechanic - oh I mean "technician" :-) - give Rhonda a call and she'll connect you with David and their staff. They are located at 603 Monroe St., Eden, NC 27288,(336) 623-2460. Sincerely, Jean in Eden.

I brought my car to David's for routine timing belt and water pump replacement. I was met by a courteous staff, and I felt like I was at home. I was given a price quote in a matter of minutes.. Prompt service, friendly smiles, what a refreshing change from a lot of garages I've been to in the past. I recommend this shop to all my family and friends.
