My car, an '03 Honda CR-V, was showing signs of severe brake problems. When I called Auto Logic, their schedule was full for the next week, and the following week they were scheduled to be closed for their summer vacation. But because safety was a concern, they not only fit me in for the brake work to be done, they made time to have a technician verify the severity of the safety issue prior to my appointment. This is only the most recent example of Auto Logic's willingness to do right by me. Every time I've brought one of our cars to them, they've treated us honestly and fairly, and their work has been excellent. While I paid a lot for this most recent visit, I trust that the cost was fair because it is matched by at least 2 previous visits when I brought my car in for work that ended up not needing to be done, and I was not charged for the appointment. Gene, Marianne, and their staff are friendly, interested in customer safety and satisfaction, and are obviously driven by something other than mere profit motive. The folks at Auto Logic engender a kind of trust that is increasingly rare, especially in service-oriented companies whose customers don't have anywhere close to the knowledge base necessary to overcome shady tactics. If Auto Logic is invested in maximizing profit, it does so by creating a loyal client base, rather than by gouging its clients. In other words, Auto Logic is my preferred auto repair company and I'll return as long as they'll have me.
