I have dealt with Auto Logic for several years with my Toyota truck and our Honda Accord. They are consumately honest, and friendly. I was impressed with the number of registered auto repair technicians they employ. They call you when something is wrong and explain what they will do to correct it. Eric Larson

I was the shop grunt at Auto Logic for about a year. I grew up around cars and love to work on my own. Usually!! Just being a shade tree mechanic I do come across things that I either do not have the tools or the know-how to fix right. When this happens I ALWAYS go back to the guys at Auto Logic. It Has been over 3 years since I worked for them and I will never stray. I learned from the inside out that Gene, Coleman and the rest of the folks at AL are the most honest and most knowledgeable mechanics around. Hey, they busted my but the whole time I was there and I still pay them to work on my car!!!

I am on my 3rd car that is being maintained 100% by Auto Logic. First a Honda, then a Volvo, now a Volkswagon. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

First things first ... I've got a bit of a crazy car, a BMW 740il Protection. "Protection", sort of its nom de guere, designates it as one of 25 740s in the United States that were armored by the BMW factory to defeat handguns up to and including .44 Magnum. Very few people need a car like this, least of all me, but owning it has been very reassuring of late (I am writing this November 1, 2002, about a week after the capture of the Washington, DC area snipers responsible for randomly killing 10 people ... I know, it's only guaranteed to protect you from handguns, not assault rifles, but at the ranges those two were shooting, I bet I would have been OK). Back to the main story, my air conditioning went bad. Having been dissatisfied with dealerships in the past, I checked this site before choosing Auto Logic. I knew I wasn't going to save money but previous reviewers were so laudatory that I felt comfortable leaving this car with them. As expected, the repair was done right the first time. Unfortunately, it took a week and cost nearly twice as much as the original estimate. In their defense, the extra time and money were apparently due to BMW's lack of adequate documentation for this model, and when I left the car with them I emphasized that I was much more interested in having the repair completed correctly rather than quickly. Here's the incredible part, and is why they'll be servicing this car as long as I own it. Repairing the air conditioning required that the dashboard be removed. Doing so caused some relatively minor scratches on the interior side of the windshield that were unfortunately directly in the driver's line of sight. Similar scratches are generally easy to polish away. However, the bullet resistant glass in Protections include a polycarbonate layer that cannot be made clear again after being damaged. Long story short ... I picked up checks from Gene and Ron today totalling $12,153.54 for replacement of the windshield. These guys have restored my faith in the auto repair industry! ;-) And I didn't even have to tell them I was an attorney.

I've been going to Auto Logic for 4 years and have always been happy with the work; they remember me, they fit me in, they fix it right and they're always nice. They're expensive but they're worth it; every time I try to go somewhere else and get it done cheaper, they are kind about fixing what the other guys screwed up! Now if they only had loaner cars.....

We have been taking our cars to Gene, Coleman & Co. for at least 20 years. In fact we will only buy cars that these guys will service. They are very knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely honest. They also identify problems quickly and almost all the time get the problems resolved with little wait time. They are the BEST.
