After my 1999 Subaru Forrester L broke down on the
interstate and was towed to Automotion, they quickly
diagnosed the problem, researched the available parts, and
gave me a reasonable quote to replace the engire. More
importantly they gave me an honest opinion rather than
talking me into anything and charged me nothing after
keeping it for a week when I decided to sell the car to a
salvage yard instead. I would definitely recommend them and
plan on returning when my new car needs service.

Ronee and the mechanics were fabulous. 2700 miles from home
I needed a repair on my Outback. They went to lengths to
explain the repairs needed. They only did necessary repairs
and I felt they were exceedingly honest. I highly recommend
this repair shop.

I'm new to this area. I moved here from Cambridge where for the last
35 years my cars were serviced at Good News, so I have high standards.
I took my car into Automotion in Carrboro just a half block from the
main drag in Chapel Hill. Ronnee Fantozzi explained what he was going
to do, gave me an accurate estimate, drove me home when I dropped
the car off in the morning, (14 miles round trip) and picked me up at the
end of the day. They answered all my questions and were genuinely
helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to take my car back to Automotion.

The measure of my satisfaction with Automotion is that I'm
submitting this positive review and a problem with my car's
brakes has not yet been fixed completely. Automotion--Ronee
specifically--took time to explain potential issues
thoroughly and instilled confidence in me that they have no
desire to take my money without fixing the problem. I had
been taking my car to a competitor, but have decided that
Automotion is the far better choice. When I leave a message
requesting an appointment, I am contacted in a timely manner
and never have had a problem scheduling the appointment.
This is a solid business with a good business model.

I cannot believe its taken me 10 years to find this jewel of a car service garage! Probably because there are SO many to choose from in the area...and Ive used most!
This place was highly recommended by a new friend who raved about the service and cost. Ever the skeptic I decided to give it a shot, as Id had a number of high dollar estimates to sort out my broken down car and money was tight.
From the first moment I met Dan - Dan The Man indeed - who runs this place i felt i could trust him. He was knowledgeable and came across as an honest player...and is a truly nice guy. A rare combo!
I was dumbfounded but elated when I called back 2 hours later to pick up my now repaired car to discover he hadnt had to order the expensive parts the other garages had recommended - with the huge labor charges on top - and had discovered and fixed the problem for under $100!
Car has now run fine for 2 weeks and needless to say I now have found my 'garage for life'!
Do yourself a favor - check this place out.
