I have been buying used Dodge and Chrysler minivans from Dwight Arrowood for business and pleasure for about 20 years. No hassle. I take them back to him for service every 5,000 miles, whether they need it or not, or when the rare breakdown occurs. I don't know about estimates, etc., because I trust him to do what needs to be done, and to charge a fair price. "Mistakes have been made," as George W. Bush was forced to say. Unlike George, though, Dwight has always made it right. When each van wears out at 300,000 miles or so, I give it back to Dwight for disposal, and then buy another from him. Please left justify this box.

I could not be more satisfied with the work done on my car by Arrowood. Even though the sign indicates that they specialize in Chryslers, Brad, the mechanic that worked on my car, is a whiz with Hondas and he was able to fix the problem for far less time and money than what I was quoted elsewhere. I ended up paying less than half(!) of what I was quoted by the first place I took it to and what I was told might take up to 5 business days by other shops, ended up taking 2 (I was actually surprised when they called to tell me it was ready!). Admittedly, I was initially a bit nervous about using this shop for a number of reasons: it does have a bit of a shade-tree feel to it, I'm clearly not from the area and was worried about being taken advantage of, and the price they quoted me with seemed suspiciously low. In the end, owner Dwight and his mechanic Brad, couldn't have been nicer, more decent folks who do fantastic, honest work. In fact, Dwight even gave me a ride back to my side of town in his personal vehicle after I dropped my car off, and this was after staying open late to receive me. Also Brad was very receptive about talking to me on the phone beforehand and he took the time to explain the work that he did after the repair. He even showed me how he fixed a screw up from a different auto shop in town (the same one who quoted me over twice as much for the job), for no additional charge. Call ahead to see if they work on your car's make and bring either cash or check to pay with.
