Wayd Walker is the owner and the only technician. So you always know who did your work. He explains the problems in great detail. He worked for the Subaru dealer for several years, and knows Subarus inside and out. His prices are much better than the Subaru dealer, too. He's very friendly and helpful. He hasn't screwed anything up on our cars, so I couldn't answer that question above.

Wayd is very capable of working on all cars. He is an excellent Subaru mechanic, but I've taken my Toyota pickup and my Honda Civic to him as well. He is honest and he is the sole mechanic, so communication is good and credibility is even better.

I always tell people to take their Subarus here. As long as I own one I will take it to RMS. In fact I have a 30,000 mile tune up that I will most likely have done here rather then then the dealer.

Wayd Walker owns the place and does the work. Knows Subies (Outback) in and out. I was particularly impressed when with a soft clutch pedal the standard opinion was to replace the clutch master cylinder, while Wayd said the slave cylinder was actually the best repair. A bit pricier than average for an oil change/fluid check, but quality of work pays off in the long run. Honest, explains problems and options, and does the work promptly.

I have been having a reoccurring problem with fuel leakage on a fuel line under the intake manifold on my 2002 Subaru WRX. The first time, the dealership "fixed" it, the problem came back within a month. I took it to RMS, and he did the same work for $150 less than the dealership. Again the problem came back, but about 7 months later. He fixed it again at no charge, which was especially kind, considering this problem seems to be epidemic with this model car, and probably was not due to any flaws in his repair.

I can't really add anything new to what's been said. My grandpa was a mechanic, so I know the value of a skilled, honest shop. This guy fits the bill.

Wayd Walker is amazing! I discovered that my CV boots were torn yesterday afternoon. I called and he was able to get me fixed-up this morning. Less than 24 hours after I discovered the problem, I am back in business for $124/boot.
