Thought they did a wonderful job on my GMC YUKON, they repaired and replaced my entire a/c unit.

Freddie Freeman has been my mechanic for over 25 years. I wouldn't use anyone else. I've recommended his shop to both family and friends who are always satisfied with the work and the price. Once I had a problem he thought he had fixed. When I took my car back, I told him that I had had to push it out of the intersection when it quit on me one weekend. He repaired the problem the second time and told me that if it gave me any more problems - to just call him at home and he would come out & take care of it. He's the best!!

I have a high mileage 97 F150, 210,000, that they have worked on several times. When they don't do the repair they have recommended a competent shop. The get it right the first time, and only fix what needs fixing. Several folks where I work use him and all of us have been happy with his work.

Very competent and trustworthy. Located on State Street - downtown area. Should expand to other areas! Worth the effort to go to them though.

I took my car to Freeman's based on a recommendation from a co-worker (and the number of recommendations on the CarTalk site). I seldom take a car to a mechanic & did not want to get taken advantage of on a intake manifold gasket replacement I needed on a Chevrolet Venture minivan. I also thought I had a brake fluid or power steering fluid leak somewhere (which I mentioned to Mr. Freeman). Mr. Freeman called me later that afternoon to tell me they could find no leaks other than the water leak due to the gasket. I get the feeling that a lot of other places would have just started replacing parts on the braking system & told me they fixed the leak. The car was ready the next day - the price of the repair fell in line with what other mechanics would have charged (around $700 - parts & labor) - they also replaced the thermostat & a couple of cracked hoses and even put a new inspection sticker on the car (I'd not realized the one I had was expired). Freeman's seems to be a good, honest place to deal with - I hope I never have take my car back to a mechanic, but if I do, it'll be Freeman's.

I came from Delaware. I know nothing about the area and the shop was well aware that I was stuck with no options. They were honest truthful and did a great job fixing my truck - even doing it the same day which shouldn't have been possible. These are the right people.
