I have been going to this repair shop for over 25 years. The only make of car I have had is Ford, however I understand that Tony Bufalo, the owner can work on almost any make of auto. It's rare that they have not fixed my car perfectly the first trip; there may have been some occurences but they always repaired it on the next trip. Consider also that I have taken cars to them that were never in their newest phase, i.e. during the warranty period when I went back to the dealer. I took cars that were older, one Ford Escort that was 15 years old. I found Tony always willing to explain and talk to me about the repairs. As someone who is very careful about expenditures, I always asked about costs ahead of time; the estimates were honored; and I never felt that the charges were unreasonable. They are located near public transportation and they have offered rides when absolutely necessary, although they are a small shop so I believe it's not always feasible. I haven't taken my car in very much in the last ten years because 1)I moved farther away and 2)I bought a '99 Escort with a Mazda engine; this car never has anything wrong with it! So I have taken it there for some oil changes; emissions and safety inspections; brakes; battery replacement; flush and fill; usually not major recently although all my other cars went into major repairs. Tony Bufalo is an excellent mechanic. I suspect his shop has been impacted by the financial meltdown, as well as by the move of his shop to a new location. More people should know about him because he is trustworthy and exceptionally competent.

My truck is a 1953 GMC. They put a replacement fuel tank in and repaired the speedometer , found and fixed an oil leak, as well as various other repairs. Many don't want to work on my truck. It takes too much time to diagnose problems. Tony has been great. He has also worked on our 2008 CRV and helped me diagnose a noise that turned out to be a tire problem. Click and Clack would like this shop on the basis of their names. Wanda handles the phones, bills, scheduling etc and Tony runs the place. It is a real keeper.
