It may not be the greatest advertisement ever to say this shop gets my business when my hoopty breaks down (often), but in their defense the car is well over 15 years old, was bought from someone named Mr. T, and probably should have gone to Car Heaven a long time ago. Telle's charges are reasonable, work is done in a great time frame, and with wonderful quality. I have never needed them to repair their repair and have had them suspect something more expensive, only to find a less expensive problem as the culprit - a good thing for the college student! Also, they are honest about what needs to be done NOW and what can wait a while. Aaron and John are great people and they run a great shop - if your car needs anything and you're in the vicinity of Big Bend & 40, go to Telle! Even if you're not, it's worth the drive/extra tow charge.

Don't trust this shop. They told me that my water pump was broken, and that it was going to cost $1,000 to fix it. I had my car towed to another mechanic because I did not trust what Telle was telling me. Not only is that a completely unreasonable price, but I came to find out later that my water pump was not even broken, but that the problem was a (very cheap to replace) radiator hose. The total repair ended up costing me $78. This is a dishonest mechanic that tried to rip me off and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

I had a pretty terrible experience at Telle a few weeks ago (their mechanic told me my car needed $1000 worth of work so I towed it to another shop and I come to find out later that all it needed was less than $100.) And while that's upsetting, I will say that I have been impressed by the owner Aaron's response to the situation. He called me to apologize, covered my bill, let the mechanic go, and they are reviewing every repair that mechanic made to make sure something like this didn't happen to someone else. So even though I cannot speak to this shop's ability to repair a car (since they didn't work on my car at all) I can say with confidence that if there ever is a problem, it will be dealt with quickly and professionally.
