When I thought I needed front & rear brakes, they checked
and explained that I didn't need the back brakes yet and
that I could expect about another year of my driving habits
on the rear brakes. The price for the premium front brakes
was lower than the national chains that do brakes.
I was told by many shops that I needed a new/rebuilt engine
for my 96 Ram and then Len's told me of other options, they
tried them and then applied part of the cost towards the
new engine when the other options didn't work.
Their estimates are always very near the actual cost and
they explain what might affect the estimate before they
begin the work. If anything is different, they call you for
your approval before proceding.
Vehicles were always done by the promised date.
I trust them so much that I have them do the repairs on
Mom's vehicle too.

Had safety inspection performed. They decided that a part
of the front end needed to be replaced. Necessary?
Maybe. Expensive? Most definitley. Being retired and on
disabiliry I have to watch the dollars.
They have been in business at the same location for many
years. Just built a new building. Perhaps they're trying
to pay it off early! Owner (although retired) still comes
to work.
Len (who the shop is named for) is a good man. His son now
runs the place.

My husband is mechanically competent but occassionally we
have to take our vehicles in because he is too busy or its
too much for him. John, the owner, has been kind enough to
answer questions for us even when he knows we are doing the
work ourselves. They are very good about giving accurate
estimates regarding the cost of the repair and how long it
will take. If something isn't fixed the first time, this
has only happened once to us, they will continue to work on
it till it is fixed. We have been taking our vehicles there
for 20 years. A wonderful neighborhood machanic!
