I went to Bob because all my brothers -- and there's 4 of 'em - have been taking there cars to Bob over the years. In fact, one of my brothers used to drive 100 miles just to keep visiting Bob with his car. Bob is honest, takes time to get to know his customers, and most importantly, takes time to explain the problems. I can't say enough about how comfortable I was taking my vehicles to him (Pontiac and Honda). I never felt like I was going to be 'taken', and I got good work and a fair price.

Youngs has always picked up my pieces. Trying to do repairs
myself, then taking Youngs the leftover pieces. Recently, a
new engine in my C10 would not have been trusted with
anybody else in the world. Thank you for the weekend hours,
the rides from the airport, the late night rendezvous and
the outstanding work. The truck runs better than I could
have hoped for. Now, for the body ... I was thinking of
building in a smoker in the bed, and cub scout camping gear
boxes in the sides.

I found Bob Young in the cartalk data base and called from the interstate while I waited for AAA towing. He agreed to look at my van (overheated, leak in radiator). He replaced the radiator and had me back on the road within 3 hours. He also noted the reason why my check engine light was on so I could have a wire replaced when I got back home. Good man, good mechanic. Thanks Bob!
