Jiffy Lube told me I would need a new oil pan gasket to stop the oil dripping on my garage floor. Several people I work with suggested I go to Wilbur's - a very small, informal shop - don't ask to use the bathroom. Wilbur called me later and said I could pick it up now. Charge: $20. He just needed to tighten the bolts.

Wilbur is a great guy and is very honest about repairs he thinks you should or should not do. He also welds some great art out of brake pads and other assortments of metal.

My family and I have been taking our vehicles to Wilbur for over 22 years. We have nothing but good to say about him. I once had a vacuum leak on my 1986 F-150 due to a disconnected hose, it took him a few minutes to plug it back on and he refused to charge me. On another occasion my 1995 Mercury Sable would not go out of drive. I called him to bring it in, he told me to check the brake light fuse and sure enough it was burned out. I fixed it without bringing it in.

Wilbur's honest, down to earth. He doesn't take advantage of his customers and delivers on-time.
