Garage specializes in imported cars. Lots of interesting photos and trophies from car races (including their own cars), where they clearly spend most of their free time.

Dick is a genius at fixing older cars. I have even seen cars from the 1920's in his shop. Work on vintage race cars is a part of his business so a trip to his shop is like a trip to a museum. The bulk of his work is on newer cars which he repairs with the same expertise. I mention the older cars because younger mechanics today know zip about older cars and fix newer cars by throwing parts at them until the problem goes away. I have sent many people to his shop and, without exception, they rave about the work. Dick has one habit that may bother some people. He is so honest that if he thinks you are wasting your money, he will tell you to forget the car rather than, as is too often the case, run up a bill and *then* tell you the car is bleeding you dry.

They are a wonderful and competent family-run business. We trust them implicitly with regard to all automotive repairs because they have earned our trust over the last 20 years. They specialize in foreign auto repairs.

I have been going to Midwest V for 20 years. Even when I lived at some distance. I switched, because most repair shops treated women poorly. I have never had a problem with treatment, explanation, emergency help, service. Price is reasonable - They look for the best deal on parts. I can recommend them without hesitation.
