I have had a number of older cars with both mufflers, exhaust and pipe that needed work. They were the best prices in town and they weld all the joints and get the job done fast. For example, I had a 84 VW Golf that needed a muffler. We looked at just buying the part and it would cost over $200. They installed a replacement muffler for $50 total, parts and labor. I thought that was great. I brought in my 86 Horizon recently and they put in a new muffler and tail pipe in one hour and charged me a little over $100. Plus I got some good advice on buying a used truck. I appreciate the courteous service they render toward women. I have recommended them to many of my friends and they are always satisfied.

I had CaRx tell me I needed a muffler and a pipe for my
Honda. They were going to charge me $360, but I talked them
down to $328. Then I called The Wonderful Muffler Man (a
woman). She was going to charge me $125. Then the mechanic
said I didn't need a muffler at all (it's stainless on
Hondas) and they ended up charging me $65 to replace the
pipe.
The shop came recommended by my mechanic and after this
experience, I know why.

The wonderful muffler Man is truly the wonderful muffler man
not hesitant to crawl under the car in the snow to scope out
the work.
Made special hours available to meet my needs - without asking.

Ozzie is the owner/operator. He made a repair of my '01
Mazda exhaust that another shop said couldn't be done, and
did so for under $50! He's smart and honestly direct too.

I received estimates from two other places, both of whom
found what I knew (an obvious rusted break) and each found
the same two other exhaust leaks further up the system that
I did not know about. Both places recommended replacing the
entire exhaust system - except for the manifold - at a cost
of about $1000. I made an appointment with the Wonderful
Muffler Man, where Ozzy diagnosed the same three leaks. He
recommended replacing all of the pipe, saving the existing
muffler and resonator. He fixed it while I was there, about
two hours. Ozzy knows exhaust systems and is very skilled.
He doesn't just slap replacement parts on cars like many
shops, he understands how cars and their exhaust systems
need to work and works on all kinds of cars, including
classics (lots of classics). In all likelihood you will need
to schedule an appointment, but it is well worth it. I
highly recommend Ozzy. I wish there were more auto repair
shops with people like him.
