They are reliable and honest. Frequently complete the task
in less time than their estimate. They call you back as soon
as the job is done.

I have been bringing my cars to Ed for nearly 20 years and
can't say enough good things about him and his work. He is completely honest and gives great advice. He is able and
willing to work on foreign cars of any vintage, which is not
always the case in tiny, rural towns like ours. He never
tries to over-sell repair work and is great at improvising
a cheap, effective solution to keep an old car running. He
doesn't have loaner cars, but will gladly give you a ride to
work on a chilly morning. (And since no place in town is
more than 3/4 of a mile from his shop, it's no problem to
walk or call the local transit shuttle.) The only problem
some customers might have is that he doesn't accept credit
cards. I'm so happy to have a mechanic like Ed!
