Hawkin's is the best. I have been taking my cars there for 23 years, and they have rarely disappointed. They are honest and take the time to explain what is wrong and how to fix it. My only suggestion for improvement would be to suggest some Saturday hours, but hey, I enjoy my weekends too.

We found these guys when we bought an oil change they donated as a fund raiser for a day care and have been going to them ever since. They provide great service. Always call prior to fixing something unexpected to be sure we understand what it is, the need and the price. Don't push unnecessary repairs.

Have sucessfully repaired Chevys, Mazdas, & a Honda. Very impressed with their dealings with my son, a first-time used car owner. They did the best they could, but eventually told him that enough was enough and although they would gladly take his money, he should spend it on another vehicle and cut his losses.

I was having power steering trouble on my Suburban. When they couldn't find the trouble, they researched the problem, consulted other shops, then called me be back to schedule the repair. They didn't "throw" parts at the problem, just one piece and I was on my way.

I have been bringing them my automotive disasters for over twenty years, and have always been pleased with their work. I am convinced of their competence and honesty. On more then one occasion I have brought them a car with what I thought was a major problem, only to have them perform a minor repair and just charge a few dollars. The only real complaint I have is that I wish they were open on Saturdays. However, being a person who enjoys his weekends myself, I don't really blame them.

Great shop. Treated my girlfriend well when I sent her over there with her 3 cylinder Geo Metro. They kept my klunky old 12 passenger Ford van running as reliably as possible. That van was a piece of junk from the day it was made, but Hawkins treated it and me with respect.

What more can I say? I am a biased customer because I have a long history with this shop and my cars have always been well taken care of by them. I usually buy older used cars and they have told me several times when it's time to quit putting money into a vehicle. I've been going to Hawkins for years and they have always fixed it right the first time.

My car broke down just before leaving on a weekend trip. I brought it to them after business hours but before they left for the weekend. They made every attempt to find the part and would have stayed late to fix it had they been able to get the part. Then they made calls on my behaft to find a rental car.

These guys are great. They can frequently get to your car within a day or so, their off hours phone has an option to connect to a (good) towing service, the repairs have always been within the estimate, I've never had a problem or a bad repair job. If you ask them to check something and it isn't ready for repair (brakes, for example) they'll tell you to wait. I've sent lots of my friends there and they all keep going back.
