Dave Steffens Automotive is a solid quality auto repair center. I have not had ANY problems with them. I would strongly recomend them. They are more expensive than other shops, but this is more than made up for with timely quality repairs.

This shop has worked on several of my autos. Pricewise, they are not the cheapest; however, when I have had my car in for a diagnostic check or before purchasing a used car, they were thorough. BTW, I'll buy a new tire before I'll ever have my local repair shop fix a flat.

I am very diligent when it comes to automotive maintenance and haven't let anyone but Dave Steffens Automotive touch one of my vehicles in many years, except when it was under warrantee.

I don't used Dave's anymore because of where I live and am now further from Dave than before. When I did, they were great. Usually Dave himself (we called him friendly Dave) would explain the problem and solution. He was always very good at explaining and fixing the problem. Dealt with my MGB too.

Over the years, everyone at this shop has been competent, honest, and pleasant to deal with. They work with equal care on my beater 1993 Escort and my Focus. A couple of times there were very minor problems with repairs; they took the cars back in without question and made the corrections for free. In fact, the last time I was there the SM handed me my invoice for $0 with $25 cash clipped to it, to correct their clerical error on the original bill. How's that for honesty and customer care!

They really good guys over there. Fixed my cars when they can, honest when they can't fix it or it isn't worth it.

My car stalled out on the highway and AAA brought it to Dave Steffens. Not only did they fix the fuel pump assembly in an incredibly timely manner but during the test drive also found that one of my tie-rods was loose. I had to replace one of my tie rods a month ago so I wasn't surprised and was grateful that the mechanic at Dave Steffens had caught it. They also charged significantly less than the other mechanic who had fixed the other tie rod (Dave Steffens charged about 2x less). The mechanic at Dave Steffens was friendly, competent, explained things thoroughly without talking down and I'm looking forward to going back. I've lived in the Twin Cities for two and half years and I've finally found my mechanic!
