Borton Volvo does a decent job explaining what the problem is with your Volvo and why it needs to be repaired. They are honost (as far as I can tell). The prices they charge for parts and labor are as reasonable as one could expect from a Volvo dealer (i.e., high). Service at Borton Volvo is much better than that of the other Volvo dealer in the Twin Cities (who shall remain nameless), in my humble opinion.

Borton is expensive when compaired to other non-volvo dealers. They always recommend the "top of the line" repairs vs. how can we keep it running and keep you safe approach of other guys. After years of going to Borton I switched to Hawkins(46th and Nicollet) I get great service and much more reasonable costs. (Unfortunately Hawkins can't do everything on Volvo's but they do all the basics)

Since 1986, I have purchased three Volvos from Borton. Both their Sales and Service personell are professional. There is another Volvo dealership closer to my home. Driving to Borton is worth the extra miles.
