These guys are awesome. They're really nice. They remember
your name. I'm a young female and I've always been treated
really well, never felt ripped off. They have fantastic
hours (open till 10pm!!!) The prices are fantastic. I went
to a local place near my house and they wanted to charge
me twice as much as the River Hills guys. My mom has been
going here for years, too, and she also loves them.

was in town for business and had a dead battery. they
promptly dispatched their tow truck to assist me with a
jump start. a follow up inspection at the shop identified
a loose & corroded connection at the battery. prompt
repairs were made and the final test showed my battery was
ok.
now thats honest service. thank you River Hills Auto!!

No only are they good, they are honest and their price was
the lowest compared with the dealer and two other garage
shops.

Tremendous integrity - will only repair something that
they "know" needs to be done

I am a young female and have never felt ripped off by
these guys like I have at most repair shops I've been to.
They are incredibly honest, great guys.
I had oil leaking from my car that they said might cost
$2000 to fix. They could easily have taken me for that
much. But when they found the problem and it wasn't as bad
as they thought, they fixed it for $350. They could have
charged me $2,000. I never would have known the
difference. But they didn't. I gave them homemade
chocolate chips cookies instead.

I have been bringing my vehicles to this shop since 2005. This shop has great people with very little turn over. I see the same guys working on my cars all these years. Right now I have an old Lexus with over 200 K miles on it. They never recommend unnecessary repairs, and frequently will save me a great deal of money by only fixing things that are needed. Last year I brought my car to them due to emission light being on- Dave figures out that it was because I was not closing my fuel tank cap tightly enough. He could have told me that I needed a large repair job, but he was honest enough not to. And he was right, too. Of course, over the years my vehicle needed some repairs, but I never had to bring it back for the same thing. Dave and his crew do a good job preventing bad things from happening with regular maintenance.
My partner was bringing his Umpala to the Honest Auto Repair, and every time he drove off the parking lot something else would break or a light would go on. We thought that it was just a bad car. He took it to Dave a few months ago. They fixed quiet a few things that have been piling on, and it runs great. Of course something will need to be fixed eventually, but I trust Dave to tell me the truth.
I bought my mom a vehicle 2 years ago. I took it to Dave before I gave it to my mom- she is an old lady, and I did not want her to end up with large repairs down the road. Several things got fixed in that vehicle. So far my mom had no issues at all. I just hope she remembers to do her oil changes.
It is hard to find a good mechanic. Many places have big staff turn over. I am scarred to go to most places. I am a girl and I can see some shops trying to get money out of customers. One shop a few years ago was trying to make me flush my transmission fluid 6 months after my transmission was rebuilt. Blatant. I would not go to anyone but Dave’s shop.
Two years ago I had a conversation with an elderly lady at Dave’s shop. She said that Dave’s father was just as good. You can not have a better recommendation then that.
