I checked out this shop based on the rave reviews here, and I do not regret it! I came in with 3 issues I thought could be major problems, and they basically talked me out of 2 of the repairs. The third repair ended up being minor brake cleaning/adjustment, when I told them I thought it was a wheel bearing. So yes, I can COMPLETELY vouch for their honesty. I would go back for that reason alone. They're good people for sure. My grand total was $38.76. They only charged me for the brake work. All the diagnostics were completely free, and they were honestly more valuable to me than the brake work. As some other reviewers have mentioned, they're pretty hard to get a hold of, but they did call me to ask for permission before they did anything major. The shop itself is pretty old and small, but looks can be deceiving! I would recommend them to anyone.

I almost hate to recommend these guys because it would make it even harder to get *my* car in, but they are amazing. I take almost all my non-warranty work here. Their prices are reasonable, they stand behind their work and you can trust them to just do the work you have agreed on. Many times I have left a car with them and told them that if the repairs are under a certain amount to go ahead and fix it without calling me first. You can trust them to just do what is required and not pad the work just to get as much money out of you as possible.

As a previous reviewer noted, you hate to say good things about them for fear it will be harder to get into the shop when you need them. I hope they never retire.
