I & my family have done business with them since about
1970. I am a retired mechanic so in the early days I did
most of my own work. I was going on a fishing trip with my
buddy's & my daughter informed me her brakes were not
working properly. I removed the two front drums and
discovered she needed a complete brake job. I didn't realy
have the time to do a proper job so went to leroy's to see
when he could get it in. He said how about now & I said I
would have to find something for her to drive. Leroy
reached into his pocket and offered the keys to his
personal Oldsmobile. Over the years my kids have called me
at work with various car problems that I couldn't help
them with at the time so I say give leroy a call. At times
the kids will say they don't have enough money. Leroy will
just fix it and say have your Dad stop by. I have never
been disapointed.

Leroy the owner runs the shop with his managers Troy his son and Rick His top mechanic. I have had my vehicles repaired here many times and have allways been very satisfied. They will offer a ride home and pick you up when work is done. Leroy has lent me his personal vehicle on different occasions. Our family has been a customer for quite some time and when my kids were living at home and needed repairs I would just give him a call and it would be taken care of, /tow job or whatever, no questions. I would just stop by later and get evertyhing straightened out. He has other mechanics working their and all are very competent.

I've brought my poor little old car in to the guys at
Leroy's far too many times, and they've always been honest
and forthright. They've never suggested more expensive
repairs when cheaper ones will do, and on the one occasion
that they failed to repair something the first time, they
fixed it correctly the second time for free. They've always
treated both myself and my husband respectfully, even though
we know next to nothing about cars, and when I brought my
car in once due to suspected overheating, they didn't charge
me a dime when it turned out to be nothing more than my
overheated imagination.

I was just looking at the list of shops and noticed that
Leroy's was already listed as Leroy's White Bear Lake.
Leroy's Travel Center & Leroy's White Bear lake Is the
same Shop. It is a family owned operation run by Leroy his
son Troy and a very competent mechanic Rick and his son
Jeremy.

I've driven by Leroy's many times but didn't pay it much
attention. I've noticed some nice "I get it done at Leroy's"
bumper stickers around. It wasn't until I had a flat tire
across the street at Holiday that I tried them.
Right away I was amazed by the service. As I drove up, on a
donut, someone was already walking up to meet me as I got
out of my car. He immediately listened to my story and took
the tire. I was then directed into the office where I was
greeted and asked if I wanted something to drink. The entire
experience was one the best I've ever had with any mechanics
and I will be using them from now on.
