About 4 or 5 years ago I had my 84 gti in for a cambelt replacement. As is was a week or so before Christmas Bob, let me use a late model Jetta to do some Chrismas shopping a near by mall. In the past 2 years I have had my 90 Corrado in to fix some repairs that were done by Rosenau's. I wish I had never heard of Rosenau Automotive Group, they did more damage than what was in their shop to repair. Since that time my Corrado has been brought back up to all it's service intervals and it is once again running like new. I would recommend Steve's European to anyone that needs to have service on either their Audi or VW. I also agree that Rob is probably the best VW tech in the state of Michigan.

I have been relying on Steve's European Automotive ever
since my beloved 2002 Golf Diesel went out of guarantee.
The reason beign that every time it went to be Serviced to
the dealership, my husband had to retrieve original parts
that had been changed at the Dealership. The first time
was a new tire by a used one with a plug.followed by head
lights, etc. On ocasions, repairs took more than one
appointment and additional charges.
A good Samaritan gave us Steve's Reference and we have been
relying on his service to the extent that once moved from
Michigan to Tenneessee, we still schedule to have the car
serviced at Steve's. He will run an inspection no matter
what and recommend based on safety and client's request.
Last time I had to go to the dealership shop for a sway bar
repair; I had no choice. After two appointments for this,
I still had the sway bar banging in the front of the car
and thinking it was killing my engine. I went to Steve, he
check the car and called me with a sense of urgency to let
me know that my breaks were about to collapse "the rottors
are almost gone! The sway bar will not damage your engine
and we will leave it for next time if you are on a budget,
but I need to work on your breaks before you take your
grandkids anywhere else!". I really apreciated this! so,
the sway bar is still banging and I will return to his
Repair shop soon. Steve also has a LOYALTY REWARD program
and offers discounts on loyalty. It is a highly reliable
and recommendable service. Thank you Steve !

Steves European Automotive has been always been there when
my passat needs repiars. Tom and Ben are always friendly
and polite and take extra time to explian the work that
they performened on my car. When i neeeded body work done
Phill was able to come up with differant options for
fixing my car that ended up saving me lots of money but
didn't comprimise the quality of the work performed. If
you have a VW or any other car, foriegn or domestic I
highly recomend Steve's European Automotive.

My son found Steve's on the VW forum and came highly
recommended, so I gave them a try and I will never go back
to any other repair shop. Both of my cars are more than 8
years old (Lexus and BMW) I trust Steve's on both of my cars.
They honestly care about their customers and are very
responsive. I had a problem with a repair and I emailed the
shop on the weekend and expected not to receive any response
regarding my complaint. Not only did Steve respond, but he
wanted to make sure that I was satisfied. Steve could have
just ignored my email and said he never received it, but
instead he addressed each one of my concerns and made sure
that we spoke. I could not expect anything more from
business. I was very impressed and Steve "did me right"
I have only one complaint and it is not Steve's problem. He
is about 1/2 hour away from my home. The good news is that
he offers reasonable priced loaner cars. The work is well
worth the drive.
Steve's facility is clean and very accommodating. I've used
his Wifi and waiting room on multiple occasions.
Tom and Ray always talk about your mechanic's boat payments,
if it is true, then I'm glad I am contributing to SteveÂ's
Â"boatÂ" it is money well spent.
P.S. my son also uses SteveÂ's for his VW JETTA GLI.

5 Stars out of 5 rating by long time customer. I have had two different VW Cabrios that they have maintained at SEA and my current 06 VW Jetta TDI diesel which has special needs with 149k miles on it as my daily driver. Unlike most places that I think are looking to gouge you, this is like going to your friend who won't rip you off. It's a family biz with Steve and his son Jordan there along with their long term staff that are extremely competent. VW's are fun cars but known to have lots of minor items that break like my door wires for my power locks. They are always prompt and let me know what the issue is and have always gotten me running while I wait which is critical since I use my car for business. One of the reasons I bought my VW is because I knew I could get it serviced at SEA and I could still work in the comfortable lounge while I was waiting with WiFi. I haven't a clue as to the hourly rate, but they are extremely fair with their prices for the quality of service. Are they $10 an hour? Nope, but you'd get an idiot trying to learn for that rate. I would trust them with my keys and credit card which I can't say with any other car repair shop. Just go into the lounge and look at the bio's on their mech's, they have long term experience, not just learning how to on your car. I have watched and they have always treated customers very well. Highly recommended.
