The folks at Classic Automotive are always conscientious, knowledgeable, friendly and are extremely competent. In addition, their prices are very reasonable. We've been using Al's place exclusively for all car maintenance and repair since 2000 and have been pleased with their service every time. FOR WOMEN AND/OR OTHERS WHO KNOW NEXT TO NOTHING ABOUT CAR REPAIR: These folks are very honest and will tell it like it is instead of taking advantage of the fact that you may not know much about auto repair! It's refreshing to be able to trust an auto mechanic for the first time in my life, and to get great prices to boot. I highly recommend Classic Automotive if you want consistently fair prices, excellent service and friendly people who aren't afraid to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction (no pun intended)!

I have had my last vehicles repaired at this shop (2002 Malibu and 1994 Astro Van). They ALWAYS call first to explain the costs and options and the work has been done right the first time and by the time promised. They also spend time diagnosing problems with little or no charge.

I just moved to the area and am not familiar with any mechanics in the area, so I went with this place based on the good reviews. My brakes were grinding so I planned to take the car in to get them replaced. I was dreading the call to tell me how bad the damage was, and Al called me and spent 10 minutes talking to me and telling me that the brakes were fine. He asked me a lot of questions about what direction/speed/type of braking was causing this. He said he didn't think we should replace the brake pads, but did a cleaning of the lines, etc., and wants me to keep track of the noise. I expected to spend about $500, and I spent about $45. They shuttled me home and picked me up while they looked at my car. Al came to personally speak to me again when I picked the car up and told me to keep track of what was going on if I hear the noise again. If this doesn't fix it, he'll replace the pads, but this is the cheaper option to try first. Now that I've had such a great experience, I'm taking the car back to have some other things looked at! Definitely recommending this place to others.

This shop is honest! This shop is fair! The people here are kind! I took my car here and they kept it a whole afternoon w/o being able to 100% diagnose the problem, and rather than just replace stuff so they could charge me they let me drive away...with instructions to follow if it did it again. This helped them know for certain what was wrong and I took it back and they fixed it fast! I feel have a shop close by with good car talk reviews and integrity!
