Jim @ son Josh did a great job on my 1966 Mustang conv.,RED. Josh knew what he was doing, he is younger than the car. The price was fare. The car is a # 1 or 2, @ the plate is "CHICMAG". They took great care of the car when it was there.

Jim's shop is not the cheapest one in town, but every problem that I've taken him has been fixed right the first time, and on time, every time. I was referred to him by my dad, who had the same experience there.

Not only have they dropped what they are doing to look/fix a problem when there is a time element involved but Jim has tken time to explain what is going on with the car in language and attitude that does not imply that women have no brains when talking about cars. their work is excellent!! I have NEVER had to take any of our vechiles back for a re-work. a family owned and run business- this is a place I can recommend to women and men. i thank goodness that we found them years ago.

If you live in the Kalamazoo area you shouldn't consider anyone but Jim and company. I have 2 Jeeps and a 1993 Lincoln (which is a mechanic's gold mine) and I wouldn't take any of them to anyone but Jim.

They installed a new carb @ intake manifold on my red, with white top 1966 mustang conv. The car runs great. I will go back to them if @ when I need work on the car.

My first contact with Carr Craft was probably 15 years ago. A Ford dealer said I needed $750 in brake repairs. A friend recommended Jim Carr so I went there. He spent 45 minutes going over the car, then told me he didn't believe in replacing parts that were safe and still had good wear. He told me I didn't need most of what the dealer said was "critical"; explained I had several months before anything would need replacing; told me what to watch for; and wouldn't take payment for his time. That was the start of a long business relationship. I sold the Ford not long after and got a new Honda. Jim and Josh took care of the Civic, the Camry I got after that, the Camry I have now, my mom's RAV4, and the various makes and models of several people I've sent their way. They are absolutely honest; I trust them completely; and nobody else will ever work on one of my cars. Oh, yeah -- did I mention I live in the middle of the next county and drive 30 miles (and bypass several other repair shops) just to get there? Believe me, Carr Craft is WELL worth the drive!
