The level of diagnosis was very thorough. The rates are extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work. I am extremely comfortable at this shop.

My original reason for trying this shop many years ago was that the building and surrounding area always look so neat and well-taken care of. I figured it showed a pride in ownership. Of course, that could have had no relation to their competence or honesty but I got lucky and they have turned out to be one of the 2 best repair shops I have ever used (the other is in VT). The owners are alwalys the ones at the counter to greet you and write up your job. Their mechanics are always neatly, professionally dressed. Their competence is great but I would say their most distinguishing characteristic is their honesty. Just dealing with and talking with them, you can tell these guys are just good people.

I have had 3 different BMWs repaired here over the past 4 years. I first found out about them when I was looking for a garage and read a letter to the editor in the Lansing newspaper praising them for working on this woman's VW for it's entire life. I thought, if she feels strongly enough about them I would give them a try. As a woman, they have treated me with nothing but respect and courtesy. They call you on the phone if there is a problem, question. They have worked with me and let me buy new and used parts elsewhere. The only thing I would say is that they are not cheap, but they may be the cheapest in town for working on BMW--which, as you know, means Bring My Wallet. I feel they are more reasonable than the big BMW dealer, but I don't have a comparison. I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone needing work on a foreign car. I would rate them as 100% honest which is a number one consideration for me.

Denny Sr. and Denny Jr. are honest and competent and have been fixing imports for a long, long time. They're perfectly willing to tell me everything they find wrong with my '86 4-Runner, then talk with me about what needs immediate attention for safety reasons or possible additional damage, or what might be reasonably be delayed, or what isn't worth fixing on this old vehicle. A couple times they've cheerfully charged me half of what they've estimated when they unexpectedly found an easily-corrected cause of the problem, and the rest of the time their estimates have been right on.

All Import is the kind of place you could recommend to your non-English speaking, 85 year old grandmother and KNOW she would not get taken advantage of.

Not only did they fix my car in a timely matter and for a reasonable price but also replaced the leaky valve stem and inflated the tire on my ride's car on the spot.

I've been taking my vehicles to All Import since 1990. As soon as If I hear that someone has a foreign car I immediately refer them there. This is a family run business with tons of integrity. Everyone is intelligent, professional, and honest. They have never been irritated with my questions, have spent all the time with me that I needed, and have never talked down to me. As a woman, that's really important to me and can tend to override other considerations. And, when they fix it, they get it right. They're not the cheapest place, I'm sure. In my opinion, however, worth every penny. For some years they had a little kitty -- a stray who wandered into their shop and took up residence. The kindness and caring I witnessed from them through their interaction with "Baby" told me everything I needed to know about their character. I am planning to move out of state, and have joked with friends that I can't do it unless the All Import guys come with me. That's how much I love them.

They fixed one of our Honda's last summer and did such a good job that we took the other one in when it needed work. Both still run great thanks to them.
