If you have a European car and live anywhere in West Michigan, go to Prestige Imports. They can fix any European car, no matter what is wrong. The shop is so clean you could eat off the floor. They screwed up ONCE. I had them change the tranny fluid in my '77 Mercedes 4-speed. When I checked the receipt, I found that they had put in 80W90 instead of Dextron. The mechanic came off his lunch break to change the fluid. I got the feeling that the whole shop, each and every mechanic, was embarassed at the mistake.

I've been getting my import vehicles serviced by these
guys for over 20 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
They also sell used imports and I've bought several with
very good luck. If they don't have what you want in stock,
they'll even find one for you if you're not in too much of
a hurry.
They've always done a ton of Volvo and Mercedes work and
now I see they're working on a lot of Asian vehciles. So I
think they'd be great for ANY import.
I think honesty and competence are their biggest virtues.
They know what they're doing and they treat everyone
fairly.

I've had 5 used Volvos over a number of years and used
Prestige Imports for both large and small repairs. For
obvious mechanical problems that didn't require involved
diagnostic evaluation, they were excellent, such as
replacing a noisy wheel bearing. They did a great job on
replacing my transmission in my 1999 S80 and also gave me
a fair price. However, they did not subscribe to Volvo's
Vadis computer diagnostic system, so they were unable to
accurately find problems that were computer system related.
