Furr was recommended to us when we moved here a few years
ago, and we've since recommended them to lots of others.
We've taken a VW, a Chevy, and a Subaru to them, as well as
had them check out a couple of cars we were thinking of
buying, and they've always done good work for a fair price,
sometimes not even charging us for small things when they
could have. Don't know how good they are with odd or
hard-to-diagnose problems, but at least for the routine
stuff they're plenty competent, and they're honest and fair
in what they charge. Just the kind of place you want to take
your car.

Jack and Steve run one of the best shops in Kalamazoo.
They are always fair, always competent, and honest. If
they don't know what's wrong, they'll tell you and will
take the time to find out what the problem is. They're the
good old-fashioned kind of car repair guys you always wish
you had. They've been our mechanics for twelve years on
three cars, and I can't say enough good things about 'em.

These mechanics are top-notch and dependable. Old
fashioned shop like I used to see, that gives friendly,
personal, quality service in a competent manner. I was
referred by this web-site and have not been disappointed.
They do a great job!

Great place, great work, great price, and you can even drop
you car off early and drop you keys through the door. They
spent countless unpaid hours fixing my vehicle. I went
there after literally 6 months of trying to get the Ford dealer to fix it right. The first time, Jack and Steve, fixed it, and the same day I dropped it off. WOW!
They have been very helpful over the years. I have been
going there for nearly 15 years.
I have taken my car in for a repair, been quoted a price,
and then when I go to pick it up, they tell me that they
fixed it for less, often for far less. I have never had
that happen any place else with any kind of repair work.
And did I say they are nice people, too. You can't go
wrong going there, and if they can't fix it, i.e., like
transmissions, or front end alignment, they will recommend
a good place to go.
If I had only found them when my troubles started with my
Taurus, I would have saved thousands of dollars and
countless hours. I would NEVER go to a dealership again!
