My family has owned seven Saabs since 1984. When I moved to Ann Arbor to go to graduate school, I drove to Michigan from New York in my 1993 Saab 900s. Before the move, my dad and I researched Saab repair shops in the area, and once we'd unloaded the car at my new apartment, we took a ride by K & N to check it out. When we saw a lot full of Saabs of all ages, we were pretty sure we'd found a good place--it looked like the shop we take the Saabs to back home. A few weeks later, after 115,000 miles, my clutch breathed its last; I brought the car to K & N. The guys were friendly, explained everything clearly, and fixed the car quickly for a fair price. Since then, I've brought the car by for some smaller issues, and they've never disappointed me.

K&N was recommended to me by a colleague. I needed rear brakes and quite frankly feared taking it to the local dealer due to cost. The disadvantage of owning a Saab is the lack of competition in repairs and the cost. These guys gave me a fair price (actually I felt as though I won the lottery)and the work was done AHEAD of time. Now that I know they are around I'll feel better about buying a Saab next time I'm in the market.

Kirk, Nick, and Don have worked on all but one Saab I've owned since 1972! They have done everything from brakes and tires to transmission work, timing chains, water pumps, AC, radiators, batteries, and various electrical jobs like windows and sun roofs! They are smart, always courteous, reasonable, and accurate when making "guesstimates" (they never promise what they can't deliver!)
