I have taken my cars into Convenience Auto on several occasions. My car is always returned to me on time and as scheduled; the bills never exceed the estimates; and it only takes one trip to Convenience Auto to fix whatever the problem is. As a woman, I have always been treated with respect, and the staff answers every question I have. Whenever someone asks me to suggest an auto service business, I highly recommend Convenience Auto.

The shop is owned and run by Lou Lippert, who was a service advisor for the local Subaru dealer for 25 years. He has forgotten more about Subarus than most mechanics learn in a lifetime. He can tell you, over the phone, what wrong with your car if you give him the right information. I recently had head gaskets and a radiator replaced on my 1996 Outback, 170,000 miles. I was quoted $2200 for the repair which I know is a fair price. The repair took two working days and the total bill was $1626 because I had previous work done on the engine and they did not have to replace timing belt, water pump,ect. Convenience Auto works on foreign cars mostly, specializing in Subaru. You can't go wrong taking you vehicle there for repairs.

Convenience Auto is owned by a guy named Lou. His sidekick is a guy named Bill. Most customers refer to them as "Click and Clack" which aught to tell you something about the affection people have for them. :-) I first met Lou when he was the service manager at a local Subaru dealership, so you can bet that he will be very knowledgeable about Subarus. The dealership was decent, but it was abundantly clear that the dealership was in business for themselves, not for me. Despite that, Lou always figured out a way to make sure I was treated reasonably. And when Lou left to start his own business, I took my car to his shop. My wife also has a Subaru and also loves going to Convenience Auto. That's why I can fairly answer the question about equal treatment for men and women. Convenience Auto charges me about the same price I was paying at the dealership, so they're not a "bargain basement." They don't run "specials." I go there because I trust them to do the right work and the price is reasonable for the area in which we live. No one is perfect and so I'm not surprised to find a few negative reviews. Keep in mind that shops like Convenience tend to get the older, crankier cars that people are no longer taking to the dealership. But after dealing with Lou either at the dealership or in his own shop for 12 years, I can't think of a reason I'd want to switch. The mechanics are honest. They do good work. They treat you like a human being.

I have to say that I really like these guys. I am a teacher at Skyline High School. These guys have really been great. They have a shuttle service to take me to school and pick me up afterwards. Their prices are fair, and they always take the time to explain things in a way that are easy to understand. They don't try and sell you something you don't need. As I woman, I don't always feel that repair shops in town treat me with the respect that these guys do. I highly recommend Lou and the team. Mary

Took my Audi here for 7 years. And let me tell you...owning an Audi is a great way to get to know a mechanic shop. A friend recommended them to me when the Audi was about go off warranty. (He called them "gearheads," a term of endearment amongst car guys). The first thing they fixed they did for half the price of the dealership. But they really are not a cut-rate shop; they are professionals charging a fair price, but are also just great guys. Now that I have a Subaru I don't see them as often, but they knew that would happen and still recommended that I buy a Subaru. I have friends who have taken all kinds of American cars to them, too. And they'll take you to work and pick you up, too. Look no further for your mechanic.

I went in here for the first time because it seems like the parking lot is always FULL. I now see why. They are friendly and very fair on the repair. I feel I now have a trusted place to go. They were able to fix an intermittent issue that had been bugging me (and my previous shop couldn't fix). It's clean and comfortable inside.

Convenience is the new owner of PAT and appears to be continuing the former shop's tradition of extremely reliable and competent service. The shuttle service makes it very easy to get my car serviced. I appreciate their checking tires, coolant, etc. whenever I bring it in.
