They were honest and extremely prompt. I had fully expected to have to pay 5x as much as they charged me and have the entire exhaust system replaced. Turns out, it was just a sleeve, they replaced that and saved me a bundle!

Recently purchased a 1991 Caddy Coupe Deville. I took it in for its first service and I was taken in on time. Rick even took the extra time to show me the problem areas to watch for regarding Cadillacs that were made in that year.

Mr. Harmon, formally of Hamilton's Service Station, recently opened his own garage on Forest Avenue in Portland. Rick, along with his associate Mark, recently replaced an axle-shaft and wheel bearing on my wife's Saab 9000. The work was done on time and below estimated cost. I would highly recommend Harmon's Automotive Service for professional, honest, high quality service at a reasonable price.

Rick Harmon is a wonderful person and a very honest mechanic. I tool my 1991 Toyota Corolla for an inspection sticker and he frankly explained to me that the cost of repairing would probably be greater than the value of the car. Upon his recommendation I started looking out for a newer car and brought a used car which I liked to get it inspected. In spite of being a saturday afternoon and being overlaoded with work, Rick took the time to inspect the car for me and gave me his recommendation on what he thought he liked and what I shoould be looking out for. I ended up buying the vehicle and becoming a loyal customer. I would truly recommend him for an honest, professional and thorough car mechanic. shaam

Rick and Mark have worked on my cars for years, both at Hamilton's and now at Harmon's. You couldn't ask for better mechanics or better people. I never question their work. They always fit me rith into their schedule, do what they say they will and charge a reasonable amount- sometimes less than they quoted, never more. When I was getting ready to replace and sell my 12 year old car, I asked Rick to look it over and recommend a fair price. He told me to ask about $1100 more than my husband thought it was worth and when I found a buyer, he took Rick's word that it was worth it and paid my price.

I received excellent service, complete explanation of repairs needed, was shown the old parts and shown why they were replaced. I think more importantly is that I felt I was dealing with an honest and very knowledgeable technician. The cost of my repairs was very reasonable and I will be a loyal customer as a result of the service I received. Highly recommended. Carl
