I've tried a few independent Toyota shops in the Greater Portland area....and after giving them a fair chance to do things right, I had no choice but to search for a new shop. Chris Parry is fairly new as an ind. shop...but he's been a Toyota mechanic for years...lastly at Prime Motors as the foreman. He knows his stuff and he's been 100% honest with me on my 3 repair visits. So, if you are having issues with your Toyota shop, give Chris a try....I think you'll be a happy customer. He's worked on my Prius and next week he'll be working on my 4-Runner.

OK....after meeting Chris and seeing his new shop, I decided to let him try to fix the brakes on my 2000 4-Runner. 1st let me say....I gave my established mechanic 5 chances to fix these brakes and after lots of frustration and money, I gave up. So I took my 4-Runner to Chris. All I can say is Chris knows his stuff and he knows Toyota's. He diagnosed the problem, phoned me with his estimate to fix, he fixed it on schedule, and he called me to pick up my car. He not only fixed the brakes....he took the time to SHOW me the problem when we came to collect our car. My 4-Runner is once again safe to drive...the brakes are fixed! Obviously I'm very happy that Chris has opened his repair shop.

Chris does a great job on basic stuff as well as more complicated things. We bring our 2010 Prius and our 1997 Corolla to him and have received honest, great service from him.
