We've been dealing with Carl and his crew for 8+ years and have been well satisfied with their work and their personal attitude.

We've been using Jim's Service Center for over 20 years, and have never worried about being ripped off or treated unfairly. They're great!

I've heard such wonderful reviews of this place since moving to Kennebunk. However "The Best of York County" splattered all over their walls makes me concerned about what the worst looks like. The wrong part was put in my car, unbeknownst to me until it overheated several times on a trip back to the midcoast. Stranded 70 miles from home, I had my longtime mechanic look over the issues, after trying to self diagnose. My car hasn't been itself since the multiple overheats. I brought this to the attention of Craig, who gave me 70% of my money back. Considering the aggravation, possible problems (I'm having a third opinion after the return trip) I'm extremely disappointed with my experience, although I'm aware everyone makes mistakes. It's just never fun when the mistake involves you.

AVOID THIS MECHANIC. I bought a used Honda Pilot from a private sale that the owner had inspected once at another mechanic in Kennebunk and then, unbeknownst to me, this place. Jim's Service Center caused extensive damage to the frame, punching HOLES in it and then didn't tell the owner when she picked the car up. When I had the original inspecting mechanic look at the vehicle after I purchased it he noticed the damage and couldn't sticker it. Carl at Jim's Service Center wouldn't own up to the damage that they obviously caused and I was stuck with the bill to fix it. CROOKED, LYING, UNETHICAL PEOPLE! When you inspect a vehicle you don't: 1) Cause more damage to it 2) Fail to tell the owner and 3 LIE about it. Nothing I could do as I signed the paperwork not knowing that another mechanic had caused this damage. I was screwed. It just sucks to know there are people out there like this who run a dishonest business.
