Automasters is the best. I've been using them for 20 years. No matter where I live in Maryland, I make the drive to Randallstown because they are honest, competent, and nice to deal with. They have worked on many models of cars for me--Ford, Honda, Toyota, Saturn--and seem to know the ins and outs of whatever I bring to them. They are exceptionally courteous when my wife happens to bring in the car. She knows nothing about cars, but very quickly grew to trust them also. As an aside, they also work on cars for competition purposes, doing whatever you ask them to do for car set up. All in all, Automasters is a great place to have your car serviced and repaired!

I had a Plymouth Voyager and it was the winter from HELL. One day as I was driving I heard this horrible noise everytime I went over a bump. Thinking my rear end of my van was going out, I stopped there and begged tehm to find out the problem. They took it for a test drive and informed me that I could leave it and they would fix the problem by the end of the day or I could wait for Spring. Ice was lodged around the luggage rack and was slowly melting and that either a warm garage or Sprig thaw would eliviate the problem and that I also didn't have a rear end in a front wheel drive. No charge for the advice but I did take them chocolate chip cookies for their trouble. I trust these guys. The same mechanics have been there for years and they are always couteous and respectful. As a woman I am not embarrased to wait there to have car repaired or maintenance done.

They've treated my wife and I very well on the two occasions that we've been there, once for her state safety inspection and once for a broken ball-joint. The safety inspection was done quickly and courteously. My (at the time) pregnant wife with toddler in hand felt very comfortable with these guys. I later had a ball joint fail on my pickup and it was towed there and fixed. They were quickly on the scene to get the truck and had it in their shop that same morning. They are very good at explaining the problem and the options for fixing it. I usually do my own repairs, but on the occasions where I need someone else to do it, I will definitely try them first.

I have dealt with shop for more than ten years and I have always gotten very competent service and always friendly and courteous. The only thing I would say that is not a total endorsement is that I find they charge the maximum book value for their work. Still they will look for a used part if it will work and they never oversell me on something I could do without. I trust them and like the atmosphere of the place.
