I've used them for both a Prelude (now gone) and an Accord
(currently); and have been, no-kidding, delighted with the
accuracy, speed, reliability, and cost of their work.

Hondamans deals primarliy with Hondas and Acuras. The
shop began about 15 years ago with the owner traveling in
a van to people's houses to work on cars as needed. For
about the past 13 years now, they have had this 3 Bay shop
operating and have branched out to a Body Shop as well. I
have always had my cars fixed there (1988 Accord with
220,000 miles, 1990 Prelude 210,000, and 1990 accord
198,000) I have had clutches, CV joints, Brakes,
Distributors, Radiators, Master Cylinders, Broken Windows,
Broken ignitions, etc...) worked on there with Great
Results. Hondaman also offers used parts when available
with no guarantee to lifetime, such as motors for Windows,
locks, etc. Hondaman uses only certified Honda Parts also
in all repairs and work done. One of the Employees lives
near me in the city , and has on occasion come after work
hours to check my vehicle when it has struggled at no
cost. Just the way they operate...Great Attitude which
goes a long way when you are frustrated with car
problems! I would recomend them to anyone A++!

When I bought my first Honda Accord, EVERYONE told me about
Hondaman's. First, they do an excellent job with
scheduling. When I arrive at my appt time, they take my
car immediately, no waiting. For basic oil/filter changes,
I'm out in 15 minutes every time. And the cost is
reasonable. They've also shaved the bill a few times. For
example, I rotate my tires every other oil change. During
one of the larger routine maintenance checkups, I forgot to
ask them to rotate them. I return 20 minutes later- they
took me immediately and then told me "no charge, have a
nice day."
It's a small operation - they don't have a computer and
handwrite all of the receipts. They run down each item on
the receipt before the service is performed and after the
service is completed. Within a few visits, the guy at the
desk remembered me and calls me by name every time I show
up. They are very respectful and don't treat women like
dummies. Finally, they don't change the seat when they
work on the car, so when I get into it after a service, the
seat is in the exact location it was when I handed it over!

These guys are professional through and through. They
really look out for their customers and never recommend
unnecessary services or pad their invoices. Service is fast
and thorough. Women can feel completely comfortable that
they will be treated with fairness and respect here.

I have read many great things about Hondaman, and we finally
reached the point with our Odyssey that it was costing us
too much to take it to the dealer anymore. After an
expensive catalytic converter repair by the dealer, a loud
noise was coming from the front of the car which they
diagnosed as a bad left wheel bearing and hub. Their
estimate was about $380. My wife said enough, no more
dealer. I told her I'd read about Hondaman, and she gave
him a call. He diagnosed her problem over the phone, made
an appointment, and she brought it out the next day. He kept
the appointment time and got her back on the road in less
time than he had initially said, and he did the job for
$275, saving us over $100. Hondaman isn't the most
convenient in that he's in Glen Burnie and only open 8-5
Monday through Friday, but he did tell my wife that if you
can't work it out to leave the car there he can arrange for
loaners. We agree with everyone else who's commented on
Hondaman, that it's worth taking the car to him even if it's
a little more inconvenient. We've been Honda owners for
over 20 years, and I wish we'd been motivated to bring him
our cars even sooner!

I am in the military and have been stationed in Maryland
for a total of eight years. I have used Hondaman's on
three different Honda cars that we have owned for probably
20 visits for regular maintenance and repairs. All of our
cars run/ran great. (We parted with our 1991 Honda Civic
only when we had to go down to one car and it was
difficult. The car had 173K miles on it.) Hondamans is
timely and gets the job done right the first time. They
complete work quickly and efficiently. An oil change and
tire rotation is a quick 15-20 minute affair. For more
complex repairs they explain what the scope of work is,
provide estimates for each part of it, and recommend what
needs to be done now and what can wait. This is a shop
that does not come up with things that need to be fixed on
your car just to generate cashflow for their pockets.
Patrick who answers the phone and runs the desk is
awesome. My wife and other women are treated well and
given appropriate maintenance and repair estimates. You
can trust your car with Hondamans.
