Maybe I shouldn't be doing this -- this shop is already very busy. I'd hate to be turned away one day because of the rush of new business generated by my careless survey response. Seriously -- this is a great shop. John and Joe are competent mechanics who have never taken advantage of me or my spouse. They don't need to be dishonest to inflate their sales because they've got all the work they can handle. Highest marks.

I used to be a HUGE fan of these guys, but have since come to believe that their competencies are not unlimited. I took a Honda Civic in a year and a half ago for a problem with overheating; the problem they "fixed" came back within 3 months as a blown headgasket. They then "fixed" that problem, only to have the same problem 3 months later. After sinking $1500 into their shop, I finally had my nephew fix the engine, which now hasn't had any problems for 9 months. They're good and honest people, but I think some of the guys they have working for them aren't as good. I'd be careful about taking any major work there; at least check to see who will be doing the work.

They are very honest. There was one time where they could
have charged me for unnecessary repairs because I was
convinced--wrongly--that they were needed. They kindly
disabused me of the idea and then didn't charge me for
wasting their time to check it. Very nice guys there.
